This article presents the qualitative and quantitative analysis of poultry manure and the methods of its use. The development of animal farms leads to an increase in the amount of manure. Manure is a serious global problem. It may by used as a fertilizer but this solution would be harmful to the environment. Using manure as a source of nitrogen and phosphorus could provide an alternative source of macro and microelements such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. The recycling of P2O5 seems to be the best solution if we take both the economy and the environmental aspects into consideration.
