Abstrakty
In the introductory part of the article a distribution of the temperature field in the insulated DC lead has been computed. The superposition principle and the analytical-numerical method were applied. On that basis the algorithm for determination of the admissible short-circuit currents was developed. The algorithm utilizes the principle of golden partition and important input data: the admissible temperature limit reached at the moment of short-circuit interruption and its duration. The investigated short-circuit currents have been tabulated. The corresponding temperature fields are presented in a graphic form. It was proved that short-circuit strength of the same cable is higher for a direct current than for alternating one. The results of computations have been verified by the method finite elements.
We wstępnej części artykułu obliczono rozkład pola termicznego w izolowanym przewodzie prądu stałego.
