An influence of different rank anthracites (an anthracitic coal and an anthracite) as the leaning components of blends on the properties and the structure of blends and the resultant cokes was studied. It was stated that the best addition of the anthracitic coal or the anthracite to the mixture consisted of gas-coking coal (ICC 633) and orthocoking coals (ICC 535 and 435) is 10 - 15%.
