Wskazano, jak ważną rolę odgrywa ta organizacja w tworzeniu norm dotyczących różnych obszarów telekomunikacji. Omówiono też poszczególne rodzaje dokumentów wydawanych przez ETSI i stosowne procedury ich zatwierdzania.

ETSI plays an important role in developing a wide range of telecommunications standards. This paper presents the organization structure of the Institute and its technical activity. Kinds of its documents and relevant approval procedures are also presented.
