Abstrakty
A new modeling approach for steady-state fluid flow analysis of networked thermal systems with temperature control devices is proposed in this paper. The problem of temperature control is crucial for the design and analysis of such thermal systems as air conditioning systems of data centers, for their control as well as providing the best data center performance and reliability. It is shown that the approach consists in formulating and solving nonlinear programming problem with positive simple constraints. Mathematical and physical aspects of the approach studied and its appropriateness are demonstrated using example thermal systems.
