The Scientific-Technical Conference on subject: Bering Engineering 99 -Bearing Kinematics Pair Diagnosing" is dedicated to Professor Bolesław Wojciechowicz on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of His scientific work Professor B.Wojciechowicz is a worldwide recognized specialist in machine operating, especially in the field of reliability and tribology. This recognition was expressed by conferring Him the Honoris Causus title , and membership of choice in range of scientific organizations like Mechanical Engineering Comitee of the Polish Academy of Sciences where He is a vice-president. Prof. B.Wojciechowicz is Prominent academic teacher who has promoted more than200 engineers and 17 doctors and several assistant professors. On the occasion of the anniversary of His scientific work the numerous group of pupils, students and co-workers would like to pay tribute to Professor B. Wojciechowicz for this great scientific, educational and onganizational achievements, as well as to wish him further scientific successes and also personal satisfaction. We also wish Professor many happy, healthy years of life.
