In this paper we study the solutions of the difference equation x<subn+1</sub> + ...[wzór] for n = 0,1,2, ... where a, x<sub>-(2k+1)</sub>, x<sub>-(2k)</sub>, x<sub>-(2k-1)</sub>, ..., x<sub>0</sub> are the real numbers such that x<sub>0</sub>x<sub>-(k+1)</ sub> ≠ a, x<sub>-1</sub>x<sub>-(k+2)</sub> ≠ a, x<sub>-2</sub>x<sub>-(k+3) ≠ a. ..., x<sub>-k</sub>x<sub>-(2k+1) ≠ a and k is a natural number.
