Niniejsza praca prezentuje wyniki badań degradacji biocydu o-fenylofenolu środowisku wodnym przy zastosowaniu promieniowania UVC i widzial-go, pogłębionego utleniania w układzie H202/UV i fotosensybilizowanego utleniania. Najlepsze efekty rozkładu obiektu badań uzyskano podczas głębionego utleniania w układzie H202/UV. Wzrost pH roztworu spowodował wzrost szybkości fotolizy i fotosensybilizowanego utleniania i niewielkie spowolnienie degradacji o-fenylofenolu w układzie H202/UV.

The degradation of biocide ortho-phenylphenol in water solution using photolysis, advanced oxidation in the H202/UV system and photosensitized oxidation was studied. The advanced oxidation process in the H2022/UV system was the most effective and quick method of o-phenylphenol removal from aquatic environment. An increase in pH caused the increase of photolysis and photosensitized oxidation rate, while the rate of advanced oxidation of o-phenylphenol decreased slightly.
