This paper presents a distributed DC servo drive control system based on Modbus over Serial Line protocol with an implemented Master-Slave multi-motor synchronization technique. It unveils the process of the system designing and prototyping and stresses the importance of system performance optimization in terms of time criteria to achieve the highest level of servo drive synchronization.
