Port Praski i jego okolice są potencjalnie bardzo atrakcyjnymi terenami inwestycyjnymi. Akwen portu jest jednak bezpośrednio połączony z Wisłą, każde jej wezbranie powoduje więc podniesienie poziomu wody w porcie. Zgodnie z przepisami miarodajną wodą dla ochrony przeciwpowodziowej Warszawy jest woda tysiącletnia Q = 9060 m3/s. Tymczasem tereny wokół portu, w obecnym stanie, mogą być zagrożone nawet wodą stuletnią. W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję zabezpieczenia przeciwpowodziowego obszaru Portu Praskiego umożliwiającą żeglugowe korzystanie z tego akwenu również w okresie wezbrań. Zwrócono uwagę na gospodarkę wodną w porcie po zreali-zowaniu projektu, co wiąże się z ograniczeniem ilości wód odprowadzanych do tego odbiornika.
The Praga Harbour and its neighbourhood are potentially very attractive investment terrains. However, the harbour is directly connected to Vistula, therefore each swelling of the river results in increase of the water level in the harbour. According to regulations, the reliable water level for Warsaw protection against flood is millennium water Q = 9060 m3/s, whereas the terrains around the harbour in their present state can be endangered even by centenary water. The article presents the concept of flood protection of the Praga Harbour area, enabling navigation also in periods of swellings. The article draws attention to water management in the harbour after the realisation of the project, what is related to reduction of the amount of waters discharged to this receiver.
