W artykule przedstawiono i omówiono przykłady projektowanych i realizowanych systemów informatycznych w aspekcie ich wykorzystania jako źródła informacji w procesach projektowania architektoniczno-urbanistycznego. Prezentowane zamierzenia informatyczne mają za zadanie usystematyzowanie i uzupełnienie wiedzy dotyczącej elementów tkanki architektoniczno-urbanistycznej wybranych obszarów. Zebrane dane posłużyć mogą jako bezpośredni przyczynek w podejmowaniu decyzji w trakcie projektowania, zarówno w fazie projektowania urbanistycznego, jak i architektonicznego czy plastycznego. Jak wykazano, w opracowaniu wyżej wspomnianych systemów informatycznych i baz danych wskazana jest kooperacja interdyscyplinarnych ośrodków akademickich oraz organów administracji architektoniczno-budo-wlanej. Wskazano również celowość udziału studentów w przygotowywaniu opracowań archi-tektoniczno-informatycznych jako cennego elementu procesu dydaktycznego.

The article describes the selected examples of planned and currently prepared nume cal, computer architectural - urban systems. They are presented in scope of their practii use, as source of information in architectural and town planning design process. The p. sented systems are planned to be a useful instrument of systematization, and complemen tion of the knowledge about architectural, and urban tissue of chosen areas. One of the p: sented systems, the Internet Catalog of Local Forms was a project focused at architectu detail and urban forms characteristic for chosen areas. It was meant to be an instrumi helpful not only for architects, but also for local authorities in the investment process. II suggested, that the data stored in the system should be included as part of the local mast plans. The local forms collected in the system as 2D and 3D drawings and auxiliary ti information should be also very helpful and educational for investors, and other people terested in the proper shape of architectural space, as continuation of historical heritą The proposed numerical system should be prepared in close cooperation of varies insti tions - educational and local administration. One of the most interesting aspect would b participation of architecture students in acquiring of the data, and it's digitalization. 1 second described example of numerical system is the research project focused at prepa tion of 3D visualization of spatial development of city of Poznań, since pre-location tin 'till present day. It will show the process of city change and growth through several 'ki stages of it's development, chosen on the basis of analysis of archival materials. The pr entation is prepared as the virtual reality environment. The VR visualization is presen using html interface with the embedded virtual worlds, accompanied with the auxiliary formation. The final presentation will be published in Internet, and available to put access. The both of described above computer systems are prepared to spread out the knc ledge about the historical architectural heritage, in order to secure the protection of the a hitectural and urban space, through the public awareness about it's values.
