Celem pracy jest udokumentowanie wpływu modernizmu na sposób rozumienia budowy i funkcji detalu architektonicznego. W pracy przedstawiono typologię modernistycznych elementów wykończenia wnętrza i zewnętrza obiektu architektonicznego. Szczególna uwaga poświęcona jest inspiracjom z architektury włoskiej lat trzydziestych i czasów współczesnych.

The aim of work is the impact of modernistic movement in architecture on the relation between construction, function and form within architectural detail. In this work a general typology of modernistic architectural elements has been presented and confronted with contemporary examples. Special attention has been focused on inspirations from the Italian architecture of the thirties an contemporary forms.
