Abstrakty

EN

Shotcrete technology is usually linked to concrete loss filling. However, shotcrete is successfully applied to structural strengthening. It requires setting and obeying special technologies. Special care is required when shotcrete is applied on horizontal surfaces, upwards. Paper authors present an example of viaduct supports strengthening with shotcrete, including upwards shooting. Maximum thickness of shotcrete was 20 cm. Effectiveness of the applied technology is proven by six-year exploitation of the structure after strengthening without any problem.
