Bridge over the Warta River consists of 4 bridge structures with total length of 1,5 km: E5, E7 and E8 flyovers and M6 bridge over the Warta River. The project assumed the execution of the multi-span two-roadway flyovers, which were made of prestressed concrete, and the girder bridge of extradosed type. Construction works were consigned to the consortium of Hydrobudowa-6 S.A. - PPRM S.A. - WPRD S.A. As a result of the cooperation with the firm Freyssinet Polska, the technology of longitudinal launching for either flyovers or bridge over the Warta River was applied. Due to this technology the execution of long superstructures was possible in one place. That was done in the place of precasting, where the segments of flyovers were produced and taken out from the form creating long superstructure. The project of execution technology together with the schedule of incremental launching allowed to optimalize the technological cycle. It was possible to put the reinforcement, concreting, guarantee the time for curing of concrete and then prestress the central cables and launch three of 30 meters long bridge segments (E5, E7, E8) and 40 meters long girder segment of M6 bridge. The selection of the proper execution technology of the superstructures allowed to keep magnificent speed of works: app. 130 meters of ready structure per week as well as terminable finishing of the investment in less than 2 years.
