Abstrakty
W prezentowanej pracy został omówiony problem dotyczący modelowania pożarów i rozprzestrzenia się dymu w obiektach przemysłowych i użyteczności publicznej. Modele opisujące proces spalania wykorzystują równania bilansu pędu, energii i masy. Do rozwiązania tych równań zastosowano program ANSYS FLUENT. Wyniki uzyskane z numerycznej symulacji pożaru są pomocne w ocenie prawidłowego działania urządzeń wentylacji pożarowej oraz bezpieczeństwa osób przebywających w strefie pożaru.
The problem of modeling fire and smoke spread in industrial and public buildings is discussed in the paper. Models describing the combustion process are based on the momentum, energy and mass balance equations. To solve these equations the program ANSYS FLUENT was applied. The results obtained in fire numerical simulations can be helpful in evaluating the proper operation of ventilation equipment and fire safety of persons residing in a fire zone.
