Abstrakty
Praca dotyczy modelowania uwalniania składnika aktywnego z mikrosfer otrzymywanych w wyniku termicznego utwardzania emulsji wielokrotnych. Przedstawione wyniki symulacji profili uwalniania porównano z badaniami doświadczalnymi wpływu struktury mikrosfer i intensywności mieszania zewnętrznego medium uwalniania na szybkość procesu. Przedstawiony model rozważa dyfuzyjny transport składnika przez niedegradowalną, ulegającą erozji mechanicznej (zmiana porowatości) matrycę polimerową mikrosfery. Model uwzględnia dwa etapy procesu, wstępny: pierwotnego i opóźnionego uwalniania, związanego ze zmianą struktury wewnętrznej mikrosfer oraz szybkiego ciągłego uwalniania.
The study concerns modeling of the release of active agent from microspheres prepared via multiple emulsions thermal cross-linking. The presented simulated release profiles were compared to the experimental data of micro-sphere structure and the influence of external surrounding mixing intensity. 1The presented model considers the diffusion of an active agent by spherical non-degradable porous polymer matrix. A model was developed to predict the release rate for cases of two-stage process: initial stage of primary and lag release tied to changes in internal microsphere structure and the contiz nuous rapid release.
