Present paper introduces a macroergonomic interpretation of research, which main utilitarian goal is to determine present and future areas of so-called business coompetition within clusters in the region of Wielkopolska (Greater Poland). Conditions of learning economy (as important capital resource) force traditional macroergonomic systems in enterprises to search new structural solutions, among other things within a triple helix, i.e. combination of business, science and public sector. Thirty years ago a classic determination of the man-machine system as the subject of ergonomic research has evaluated to multiagent systems typical for ergonomics of the third generation. It has determined premises of technology and rganization. Nowadays the situation seems alike: transferring scientific research (subject and methodology of research) and application to the level of clusters represents a big challenge for ergonomics.
