The paper contributes to the discussion on evaluation of information technology in contemporary SW organizations and presents an approach to the issue from Intel Technology Poland's (ITP) perspective. It demonstrates a case study on making such an evaluation a key factor to achieve organizational objectives as rolling-out the quality standards of CMMI [3] at the level 4 and TL 9000 [12] throughout ITP.
