Some devices which enable remote access to intelligent installations based on KNX system are presented in this paper. Particular attention is paid to bus elements which use IP protocol and to application of every solution. On the basis of a single family home visualization, the possibilities of GIRA HomeServer, the most advanced device dedicated to KNX system which use IP protocol, is presented. Finally, KNX IP - a new transmission medium for KNX system is presented.
