The chosen examples of the metaphors iike a city-castle, a city-body, a city-machine, are very popular in our life. They are important elements in our language and culture and also comfortable shortcuts. The article is a trial to find the answer to the questions how we sense cities, how we experience them, and how we transform our feelings into words.
