The paper discuss the influence of inhomogeneous permanent magnet magnetization on the electromagnetic torque in brushless permanent magnet motor with two planes system of permanent magnets. The calculations have been performed using the 3D edge element method (EEM). Selected results of 3D electromagnetic torque calculate, for the different distribution of magnetization vector are compared and discussed.
