Abstrakty

This work is devoted to measuring spectral characteristics of narrowband optical sources. The results obtained by using a Fabry-Perot tunable etalon setup are presented. The set-up we built fills the gap between the optical spectrum analyzers (OSA) using diffraction gratings and those basing on confoeal interferometer configurations. Comparing with grating OSA we obtain at least five times better resolution and 30 times wider operating range than Fabry-Perot based confoeal analyzers.
