The paper deals with multiview video coding i. e. compression of video sequences obtained from many cameras that record the same scene from different points of view. An idea of improving disparity prediction in multiview coding is presented. The proposed algorithm was implemented and experiments on multiview sequences were performed using modified coder. The experiment results were compared to results of compression with standard algorithms. Conclusions from the experiments are presented in the article.
