Experimental investigations of the emulsification process of two immiscible liquids are presented in the paper. The mixing process was realised in a vessel equipped with the new type of reciprocating agitator. Based on the mean and standard deviation of the emulsion volume for representative samples, the statistical analysis of the emulsification process was carried out. An influence of the mixing intensity on emulsification process is also described.
