Abstrakty

EN

The model of the contaminants migration and its immobilisation on the active barrier was presented together with boundary conditions. The division of the system into 2 horizontal layers (partially and fully saturated) and 3 vertical compartments (soil before the barrier, barrier itself and soil after the barrier) was proposed. The values of the dimensionless Peclet and Fourier numbers indicate the diffusive-convective type of mass transfer mechanism.
