The paper deals with pyrolysis of selected parts of MSW in laboratory conditions. Description and reasoning of laboratory apparatus as well as method of experimental measurements foe concrete part of MSW are presented in this paper. Pyrolysis experiments have been conducted on a sample paper package to determine particular yields, lincrgy evaluation of particular yields originated by waste pyrolysis is result of these measurements. The gas yield - pyrolysis gas, which reaches high heat value for temperature ot 800°C, is suitable for further energy utilization. Following of these results will be chosen concrete parts of MSW, which are suitable for energy evaluation by pyrolysis.
