The industrial cogenerative system taken into consideration is integrated with the metallurgical COREX process which produces pig icon and export firing gas. The demands for district heat and process steam ore determined by the needs of the entire ironworks and nearby medium-sized city. It has been assumed that Corex export gas is fired in the gas turbine (GT) combustor. The GT unit is connected with a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The multi pressure tap-condensing steam turbine (ST) has also been considered-The paper presented here is aimed for the off-design simulation model of crucial combined cycle devices. The model is based on substance and energy balances as well as flow and efficiency characteristics of analysed equipment. All devices have been modelled on the GateCycle software and dedicated procedures written in Visual Basic. The results of simulation are shown as yearly characteristics of selected CI IP plant parameters. The whole model is fully interactive and can be use for the optimisation of selected parameters and control strategies of the analysed combined cycle.
