In this paper results of electrostatic atomization of melted polymers and polymers dissolved in volatile solvents are presented. Products of such process were fibers, spherical particles and an intermediate stage of the liquid filament breakup called "beads on the string". The form depends on polymer type and concentration, applied voltage and flow. Influence of these process parameters were investigated and presented.
