Abstrakty
Electrochemical oxidation of glipizide was investigated at carbon paste electrode using cyclic, linear sweep, and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Glipizide exhibited single anodic signal in Britton-Robinson buffers in the pH range of 4.0-7.0. A very well-formed voltammetric peak of analytical meaning was obtained in Britton-Robinson buffer of pH 5.0. A method for the determination of glipizide over the concentration range in the solution 7.5 × 10-7 - 5.0 × 10-5 mol L-1 has been proposed and successfully applied to the determination of the drug in tablets. Mean recovery and relative standard deviation equalled 100.72% and 0.45%, respectively.
Zaproponowaną metodę z powodzeniem zastosowano do oznaczania glipizydu w tabletkach w zakresie stężeń 7 x 10(-7-5 x 10(-5) mol L(-1) (w roztworze). Średni odzysk i względne odchylenie standardowe wynosiło odpowiednio: 100,72 % i 0,45 %.
