Abstrakty

CrossGrid is an EU-f'unded research project with the aim to advance the technologies relevant to the Grid computing and its application to the interactive applications. This paper presents an outline of the Project itself as well as the approaches utilized in the development of the Project software and infrastructure. Special attention is devoted to the quality assurance procedures and their results, thus exemplifying the difficulties inherent in the widely-distributed scientific projects.
