Abstrakty

It was observed that the order of bioreaction in the liquid film covering solid particles was dependent on the biofiltration duration time as well as on the place in the biofilter bed. The unsteady—state mass transfer model was derived taking into account the kinetics of the bioreaction and the time—dependent concentration of ketone vapours as the pollutant in the air stream along the biofilter height. The model is experimentally verified.
