In this paper a method for aluminium determination in human serum and urine is presented. Serum and urine specimens were analysed directly after dilution with 0.2% nitric acid and water. The matrix-based calibration was used for the quantitation by Zeeman background atomic absorption spectrometry. The precision (coefficient of variation, CV) of the method for serum at 10-100 ug L(-1) and 25-200 ug L(-1) was 7.0 and 7.9%, respectively, and for urine at 25-150 ug L(-1) the corresponding value was 4.5%. The accuracy of the method was verified by analysing serum and urine reference material (Seronorm™ Trace Elements). The German Interlaboratory Comparison Program was used for the validation of the reliability of the analytical results. The above method may be applied to the evaluation of the environmental and job risk assessments. The mean level of aluminium in 18 healthy subjects not using medicines containing aluminium was 0.99 ug L(-1) serum and 9.75 ug L(-1) urine.
W pracy przedstawiono metodę oznaczania glinu w surowicy ludzkiej krwi i w moczu. Rozcieńczone roztworem kwasu azotowego próbki analizowano w kuwecie grafitowej spektrometru absorpcji atomowej eliminując wpływ matrycy za pomocą efektu Zeemana. Precyzja (CV) oznaczeń glinu w surowicy w zakresie 10-100 ug L(-1) i 25-200 ug L(-1) wynosiła odpowiednio 7.0 i 7.9%, a precyzja oznaczeń glinu w moczu w zakresie 25-150 ug L(-1) wynosiła 4.5%. Oznaczone średnie stężenie glinu u 18 zdrowych osób nie przyjmujących leków zawierających glin wynosiło 0.99 ug L(-1) w surowicy i 9.75 ug L(-1) w moczu.
