Na podstawie badań przeprowadzonych wiatach 1981-1997 w dorzeczu Bugu określono zróżnicowanie cech fizyczno-chemicz-nych wód Bugu i jego dopływów w zależności od warunków przyrodniczych i stanu zagospodarowania zlewni. Podjęto również próbę określenia dynamiki zmian zanieczyszczenia wód.

On the basis of investigations carried out in the period 1981 -1997 in the catchment area of the Bug the Authors have determined the diversification of the physical and chemical features of water in the river and in its tributaries according to the natural conditions and to the way of management of the catchment area. There has been also undertaken an attempt at determination of the dynamic of changes in the state of pollution of the river.
