EN

Two series of standards for quantitative EPR measurements of isolated and interacting Mn(2+) ions were obtained. The standards were applied for determination of the level of manganese impurities in sphalerites and illite clays. They were also used to check the effectiveness of doping of montmorillonites with Mn(2+) ions, which may create active centers for adsorption and catalysis.
