Abstrakty

The paper contains a description of the numerical methods of stress analysis in hardened steel cylinders made of carbon steel. The calculations are based on Sjostrom's model [7-8] and the experimental data of Ericsson and Hildenwall [2-3]. The works of Avrami [1], Fletcher [18] and the theory of Inoue and Raniecki [4] were also utilized.
