Opisano historię ratownictwa chemicznego w Polsce i historię europejskich systemów ratowniczych. Omówiono System Pomocy w Transporcie Materiałów Niebezpiecznych -SPOT - historię jego powstania, strukturę organizacyjną oraz wykaz zakładów - członków Systemu SPOT. Przedstawiono także europejski system informacyjno-pomocowy dla przewozów niebezpiecznych substancji chemicznych oraz wymieniono krajowe systemy International Chemical Environment (ICE) w Europie. Autor skomentował tez uwarunkowania działania systemu SPOT w Polsce i w Europie.

The history of chemical rescue in Poland and European rescue systems are presented. Moreover, the A-id System for the Transportation of Dangerous Materials - SPOT- history of its creation, organizational structure and list of facility - members of the SPOT system are featured. Also, the European information - aid system for the transportation of dangerous chemicals is discussed, as well as International Chemical Environment (ICE) systems used in particular European countries are mentioned. The author commented conditions for functioning the SPOT system in Poland and Europe.
