Synthesis of 2,6-bis (l-hydroperoxy-l-methylethyl)naphtha1ene (D HP) and 2-isoproPYI-6-(I-hydroperoxy-l-methylethyl)naphthalene (M HP) via oxidation of 2,6-diisopropylnaphthalene (2,6-DIPN) by oxygen in the presence of 1,1 -azo-bis-(1-cyanocyclohexane ) (ACHN) in the liquid phase is described. D HP and M HP were separated, and their properties were determined.
