A method for semi-quantitative colorimetric determination of orthophosphate at low ug1(-1) levels after sorptive preconcentration is presented. The method is based on the concentra-tion of molybdenum blue (performed in liquid phase) on a membrane embedded anion exchange material. By a visual inspection, the colour intensity of the membrane can be correlated to orthophosphate concentrations in the range 1-50ug 1(-1). The method was ap-plied to the analysis of different types of water.

Przedstawiono półilościową metodę kolorymetrycznego oznaczania mikrogramowych stężeń ortofosforanów po zatężaniu sorpcyjnym. Metoda polega na zatężaniu błękitu fosforo-molibdenowego ( tworzącego się w ciekłej fazie) na membrany z wymieniaczem anionowym. Intensywność barwy membrane kontrolowana wizualnie może być skorelowana ze stężeniem ortofosforanów w zakresie 1-50ug 1(-1). Metoda została zastosowana do analizy różnego rodzaju wód.
