Abstrakty

Some important aspects of quality management are highlighted which are not so fre-quently discussed elsewhere. Various definitions and statements on quality lead to the fact that quality depends essentially on people. Hence, some ideas on the quality control oftop management as well as on the quality control of ourselves are expressed and it is shown how this is related to ethical principles. Some thoughts are developed on the Japa-nese quality culture which contributed essential impulses to the evolution of certain qual-ity installations such as quality circles. The Japanese also developed a philosophy of quality which is significantly different from westem industrial quality concepts. Installa-tions oftotal quality management such as system audits, procedural audits and product audits are important facets ofmodem quality assurance. Thoughts on analytical product liability lead to a final key issue ofanalytical quality management, i.e., analytical meth-ods validation on the one hand and laboratory accreditation on the other.

Scharakteryzowano niektóre ważne aspekty zarządzania jakością, które nie są często dyskutowane. Różne definicje i stwierdzenia dotyczące jakości prowadzą do wniosku, że jakość zależy zasadniczo od ludzi. Dlatego wyrażono pewne poglądy dotyczące starań o jakość przez kierownictwo i przez nas samych i wskazano jakajest zależność między tym a zasadami etycznymi. Pewne myśli wynikają z japońskiej kultury jakości, która wnosi istotne wartości w ewolucję pewnych założeń dotyczących jakości, takich jak koła jakości. Japończycy opracowali też filozofię jakości, ktróra jest zasadniczo różna od zachodnich przemysłowych założeń jakości. Przedsięwzięcia całkowitego zarządzania jakością takie jak system audytów, audyty procedur i audyty produktów są ważnymi elementami nowoczesnego zapewnienia jakości. Pamiętanie o odpowiedzialności za wynik analityczny prowadzi do końcowego wniosku związanego z zarządzaniemjakoś-cią analityczną, to jest z walidacją metod analitycznych z jednej strony i akredytacjąlaboratoriów z drugiej strony.
