On the rate of pointwise convergence of the Kantorovich-type operators

For bounded or some locally bounded functions f measurable on an inteIVall there is estimated the rate of convergence of the Kantorovich-type operators L:f at those points xEInt l at which the one-sided limits f(x :t o) exist. In the main theorems the Chanturiya modulus of variation is used.
