Applying the level set methods and the immersed interface method in EIT

Abstrakty
This paper presents a new approach was based on a continuous approximation of material coefficient distribution using level set methods and the immersed interface method. The representation of the shape of the boundary and its evolution during an iterative reconstruction process is achieved by the level set method. The immersed interface method provides an effective discretisation for differential equations with discontinuous coefficients across a interface.
