The paper presents the switch-on and switch-off angles influence on the average electromagnetic torque in the modular reluctance motor (Transverse Flux Motor) with an outer rotor. The analysis were prepared using the mathematical model implemented in Matlab/Simulink environment. Several computer simulations were carried out for different TFM motor speed values.
