One of the major segments of energy market in Poland is the balancing market. Activities in the balancing market can be divided into three main groups: reporting of contracts for the sale of electricity to the physical implementation, planning and managing traffic in the national electricity system balancing and settlement. The operator of the transmission system should be able to shape and control the planning and conduct of movement, creating plans for coordination, creating balance of trade and technical-operative of traffic. The article describes some forecasting models to assist the operator in the construction plans, coordination, and other selected problems related to this topic.

Jednym z ważniejszych segmentów rynku energii w Polsce jest rynek bilansujący. Działania realizowane na rynku bilansującym dzielą się na trzy zasadnicze grupy: zgłaszanie umów sprzedaży energii elektrycznej do fizycznej realizacji, planowanie i prowadzenie ruchu w krajowym systemie elektroenergetycznym oraz rozliczenia transakcji bilansujących. Do operatora systemu przesyłowego należy kształtowanie i kontrola procesów planowania i prowadzenia ruchu, tworzenie planów koordynacyjnych, tworzenie bilansów techniczno-handlowych oraz operatywne prowadzenie ruchu. Artykuł opisuje wybrane modele prognostyczne wspomagające operatora w konstrukcji planów koordynacyjnych oraz inne wybrane problemy związane z tą tematyką.
