In this paper, the authors propose to determine the cyclic strain characteristic from fatigue test results obtained under variable amplitudes while registration of stress histories under controlled strain history. Strain amplitudes and the corresponding stress amplitudes are determined from histories. The amplitudes corresponding to the zero mean values are used for further analysis.
