W artykule omówiono układ elektroniczny do korekcji odczytów GPS w terenie miejskim.
The article presents an electronic device for correcting GPS readouts in urban terrain by a sensor carried by a pedestrian. The device consists of a GPS sensor, accelerometer and digital compass. The accelerometer is used to detect steps of a person as well as to estimate their length. The digital compass provides the heading direction of the person. In case of poor quality of GPS readouts, the location of the person is corrected by the data provided by the accelerometer and the digital compass.
