The disappearance of superconducting state, so called quench is a very danger phenomenon which can lead to a sudden damage of equipment. Therefore the superconducting circuits of the LHC accelerator demand a protection system so called Quench Protection System QPS which protect against results of this phenomenon. The article describes equipments comprising this system: three kinds of quench detectors, energy extraction system and instruments for remote control, monitoring and communication to other subsystems of accelerator.
