W artykule omówiono prace dotyczące pomiarów magnetostrykcji metodą tensometryczną i za pomocą obserwacji pętli w postaci motylka. Poinformowano o ustanowieniu międzynarodowej normy na pomiar charakterystyk magnetostrykcji blach elektrotechnicznych IEC/TR 62581:2010. Zaprezentowano profesjonalną aparaturę do badania tych charakterystyk. Przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów magnetostrykcji wybranych próbek blach transformatorowych produkowanych przez Stalprodukt S.A.

The paper describes the works concerning magnetostriction of electrical steel by a strain-gauge method and by observing the loop (butterfly figure). The paper includes information regarding the establishment of the international standard for measuring the magnetostriction characteristics of electrical steel IEC/TR 62581:2010. The professional apparatus for the measurement of the above was presented. The results of magnetostriction measurements of the chosen electrical steel samples produced by Stalprodukt S.A. were shown.
