Abstrakty
A radial-flux twin-rotor brushless permanent magnet motor is presented. The slot-less cylindrical stator core has 3-phase Gramme’s type winding. A double-sided stator is placed between two cylindrical rotors with permanent magnets, which face the stator winding. To determine the electromagnetic torque and back electromagnetic force induced in the winding a magnetic field is analyzed in 3D space using software developed by the authors. This software is based on edge element method. An influence of permanent magnet configuration on inductance and torque waveforms is studied.
