EN

The number of cardiac pacemaker patients whose work or live exposes them to artificial (man-made) electromagnetic fields is growing. The pacemaker wearers need to be educated not only in living with disease but also in living with device (in awareness of threats). The authors demonstrate the basic specification of education cardiac device implant wearers about electromagnetism and specially electromagnetic interferences. The paper presents problem pacemaker patients education. Application dedicated for education is exemplified by ePacemaker portal.

Wzrasta liczba pacjentów, nosicieli stymulatorów serca eksponowanych na działanie sztucznie generowanego pola elektromagnetycznego. Pacjenci wyposażeni w stymulator serca powinni być edukowani nie tylko w temacie schorzenia/choroby, ale również w zakresie interakcji stymulator serca – pole EM. Autorzy prezentują problem edukacji pacjentów ze stymulatorem na przykładzie portalu ePacemaker.
