Utilisation of the chemical adsorption for removing of CO2 from the flue gas in power stations being under operation at present is possible, but it should cause the increase of costs of generated electricity by 70%. Utilisation of coal gasification for the chemical adsorption of CO2 is possible only by complete re-construction of the power station (replacement of the boiler and steam turbine by the IGCC unit). Aerobic combustion creates a possibility of CO2 sequestration, and it could be considered in the aspect of existing power stations. However, as a condition is here the implementation readiness of this technology. Hydrogen as a fuel for power engineering is more expensive than fossil fuels.
